BPUB Public Comment Request

Your presence and participation are greatly appreciated at all BPUB meetings, including Board of Directors meetings, committee meetings, and Public Utilities Consumer Advisory Board meetings. We encourage you to engage in the democratic process by sharing your opinion on matters of public interest and registering to speak before the respective board or committee. All comments must relate to the issue, and must be made to the Board as a whole, not to an individual.

Since the meetings are recorded and are a part of the permanent and public record of BPUB, certain rules of conduct are necessary:
- Please step up to the podium as soon as you are recognized by the Chairperson.
- State your name and address before beginning your presentation.
- Comments are limited to three (3) minutes. In the interest of maintaining order, please abide by allotted time when the time clock sounds so that the next citizen may have his/her turn.
- If you have written notes or other material you wish to present to the Board, please furnish an extra copy to the Recording Secretary for the record.
- Please speak directly into the microphone (you may adjust it as necessary).
